Visitors will forget what you say, but they won't forget how you made them feel.  That is why the first impression our church makes on the people who visit each Sunday is vital.

Your commitment to this ministry is valued and appreciated, ensuring that we can extend a warm welcome to everyone who comes to Gateway. While excellence and professionalism is important, we are ordinary people serving together aiming for extraordinary results.

Our Welcome Lounge offers a safe comfortable space - a place where we can celebrate with new believers, where we can meet and welcome newcomers, and help you find the next steps along the pathway to getting connected in our large church family at Gateway. The Welcome Lounge is open after each of our services with friendly hosts - so you can be confident to invite those you live, work and laugh with, knowing that it is our priority to ensure that everyone who comes here is welcome.

Our Welcome Teams work on a regular roster - with specific roles with a team - from car parking and bus pick ups, to greeting, stewarding, information desk and lounge hosts - covering all Sunday services. We are currently in need of another 10 people to join our Sunday morning teams around the 10:00am services.
