Small Groups

If anyone asks us the best way to get connected as a high-schooler at Gateway, the first answer we would give is to join a small group. Our small groups are the place where we journey through life together and grow as followers of Jesus! Our small groups run every Friday night that youth is on at the Gateway centre. We start with a dinner together and then spend some time opening the bible, talking about life, supporting each other and praying together. Our small groups then hang around and get involved in our larger youth gathering!

We believe small groups are so important as Gateway is a large place and we believe every young person who is part of our community needs this smaller expression where they can build better friendships and be part of journeying with others.

Our small groups are generally age and gender based (e.g. Year 8 girls group, Year 8 boys group etc). Each group is facilitated by 1 or 2 leaders and every group uses a pre-prepared set of materials that has been created to fit with the theme we are looking at for each month/term.

Small Groups run each Friday Night we are at the church, starting at 6pm with Dinner.
