Starting Point
Starting Point is a conversational environment where you can explore faith and experience community.
Starting Point is not a lecture or a class, but a small group conversation where questions are welcome and group members are encouraged to share their thoughts and reflections on the topics.
Starting Point groups are a safe place for those with questions about faith and what it means to follow Jesus, as well as those who want to learn more as they begin their relationship with God.
A Starting Point Group meets over 10 weeks, for 90 minutes each week and explores the grand story of God. One of the goals of Starting Point is to help participants find their place in the story.
Starting Point is for you if:
you are curious and have questions about Jesus, God, and the Bible
you are new to a relationship with God
you have some church experience, but may have been away for a while
There are two new Starting Point groups beginning on May 1st:
Tuesday mornings: 10am-11:30am
Tuesday evenings: 7pm-8:30pm
Registering for Starting Point
To register your interest for an upcoming group, please click on the "Starting Point Rego" link on the right and fill in the registration form.
Registration is a must as group members will need to collect their materials at least one week before the group meets so that they can read the first chapter, "Story" in preparation for the first week's discussion (approx 7 pages).
Your group leader will contact you to answer any questions you may have about collecting materials or about the group.
